Antique Radio is an indie rock trio from the South Bay Area. Formed in 2006 by members Nick Rennie (drums / Vocals), Michael Boyer (Bass) and Danny Velvet (Guitars / Vocals).

 

Cousins Nick and Danny knew they had something special at very young age, when they would flip over trash cans and bang on pillows for the family entertainment. As all three members grew up on the same street in the small farm town of Morgan Hill, Ca. It was in high school when Danny convinced his best friend Michael to buy a bass guitar to have somebody to jam with. After gradutating high school Nick and Danny decided to take their music to a whole new level and attend music school in Los Angeles where they developed their skills for performing live and crafting catchy jam rock, indie tunes.

Though the band has endured trials and triumphs in their decade of existence, the trio remains a live spectacle worthy of standing against the pillars that build the Bay Area scene. The sound of Antique Radio defies the boundary of genres which is evident on their debut album "Everlasting Sun".  A blend of bluesy, mellow moods combined with a hard rock core and classic guitar leads.
